Terms
Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions set out our consultancy and finder’s fee policy for clients wishing to acquire or transfer hunting rights over a particular parcel of land or hunting estate.
Legal services are provided by independent law firms under their own engagement with the client. Their fees are separate from those of Lasarotta Ltd and may take the form of a fixed fee for representing the client’s interests.
If a buyer already instructs a law firm with expertise in local hunting law, there is no need for us to refer them elsewhere. Otherwise, clients often ask us to recommend reputable international or local law firms in the country where they intend to buy a hunting estate. These lawyers act for the client, not for Lasarotta Ltd. They may work alongside our legal advisers to complete the transaction in accordance with local law and within a reasonable timeframe.
1. Fees and Scope of Services
Lasarotta Ltd provides consultancy services to help clients find and acquire hunting estates, including land and buildings. Separate fees may apply to the acquisition or transfer of hunting rights over a specified hunting estate.
Our services may include research, the identification of properties and opportunities, introductions, negotiation, and the coordination of the future management and upkeep of hunting grounds.
The written engagement identifies the client we represent and sets out the agreed scope of services. Where applicable, this may include the estate management plan, staffing costs (including estate managers and gamekeepers), the annual operating budget, and the relevant hunting or property rights.
2. Consultancy Commission
Our consultancy fee is 2.5% of the transaction value, as defined in the written engagement agreed with the client. Each client is responsible for paying the fee set out in their own engagement agreement.
3. Calculation, Payment and Additional Costs
Before paid work begins, the written engagement will set out how the consultancy fee or commission is calculated and when it is due.
Where relevant, the engagement will also set out how leases, staged payments, deferred consideration and other transaction structures are treated for the purpose of calculating our fees.
Any additional service fees, third-party charges, professional fees or specialist costs must be agreed separately in writing before they are incurred.
4. Representation and Other Parties
If we propose to provide services to both the buyer and the seller in the same transaction, the scope of services, representation and fees for each party must be disclosed in advance and recorded in separate written engagement agreements.
This arrangement may proceed only if applicable law and relevant professional rules permit it and any required informed written consent has been obtained. Consent cannot override any prohibition under applicable law, regulation or professional rules.
5. Enquiries and Applicable Rights
Sending an enquiry, asking for information, or preparing an email draft does not appoint Lasarotta Ltd to act for you, authorise any charge, or create a paid engagement.
Paid services begin only after a written engagement has been agreed and, where applicable, a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) has been signed.
The availability, ownership and transferability of hunting rights are subject to applicable local laws and regulations, as well as any necessary legal, regulatory, property and specialist due diligence.
These Terms & Conditions do not affect any mandatory consumer protection, cancellation or other statutory rights that may apply.
